Now, we have seen extra ordinary fancy phones before, but they always seem to fall short in specs or in some other random department.
The phone itself is made from different materials, including steel and leather. On its backside, you will find the well-known Lamborghini logo. Again, there is no price listed quite yet, but if you are even interested still, then price must be meaningless to you.
It certainly looks better than Porsche’s attempts with BlackBerry. Part of the problem with owning a Lamborghini is the lack of matching Android devices that come along with it, at least that’s apparently what Tonino Lamborghini thinks.
Thanks to the luxury products company (different from the car company), you can now talk on the phone in style with the Tauri 88, an Android phone with great specs, premium build quality, and an insanely high price tag. The 88 Tauri Android smartphone carries a bona fide high-end spec. While it lacks Qualcomm, Inc.'s (QCOM) latest and greatest Snapdragon 805 and has no QHD screen, the spec nonetheless was what state of the art for flagship earlier this year:
- Display: 5-in., 1,920 x 1,080 px. ("FHD" (full high definition), aka 1080p)
- SoC: Qualcomm Snapdragon 801
- CPU: 4x Krait 400 cores @ 2.3 GHz
- GPU: Adreno 330 GPU @ 578 Mhz)
- Memory: 3 GB LPDDR3
- Storage: 64 GB NAND (internal)
- Camera:
- Rear: 20 MP w/ dual-LED flash
- Front: 8 MP
- Battery: 3,400 mAh
- Modem: LTE w/ dual-SIM support
If that’s not enough, the Tauri 88 also brings a 20MP rear-facing camera, an 8MP front-facing camera, and a 3,400mAh battery. It ships with Android 4.4 KitKat, but since this is a luxury device, we’re unsure if it will ever see Android 5.0 Lollipop. The phone is made of steel (Gold, Black or plain) and leather (Black, Blue, Red, Orange or Brown), complete with hand-embroidered stitches.
