Volkswagen Electric e-Golf Car Review

The German car company brought a fleet of the sporty e-Golf battery electric vehicles to the Los Angles Auto Show, eagerly throwing the keys to anyone willing to take a test drive.

The car is worth promoting. The VW e-Golf is a spirited runabout that deserves its place in the popular Golf family. In going electric, it makes almost no compromises in terms of performance, comfort or cargo space. It looks like a Golf, and it runs like a Golf. And like most battery electric vehicles, it costs too much, takes too long to recharge, and has too little range.

2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 Review

2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 Review
Mercedes-Benz’s recently adopted renaming strategy aligns each of its crossovers and SUVs more closely with the brand’s sedan models in terms of marketing, although some are more closely related mechanically than others. The CLA- and GLA-classes, for example, are very similar, while the GLE- and E-class models are rather more different.

The extra size on the outside translates almost directly into more space on the inside; Benz claims 2 more inches of elbow room, 2.2 inches more legroom on the second row and 17 percent more storage space behind the second row with a 15 percent larger load floor. It's not just bigger, the GLC also boasts a much more luxurious cabin with a longer list of standard amenities, which we'll get back to shortly.
